Experience

    As principal of RW Consulting, Bob Weinberg leverages 30 years  experience implementing, improving and analyzing direct and database marketing programs. RW Consulting has completed major assignments for such companies as Coach, Hershey, Hewlett Packard, Moore Business Solutions Direct, PETsMART Direct, Sara Lee Direct and ServiceMaster. Bob has served several of these firms for ten or more years.

Prior to founding RW Consulting, Bob was President of the Chicago office of Kobs Gregory Passavant. He headed its consulting practice and undertook major assignments for such firms as AT&T, Bose Corp., Microsoft and Reiman Publications.

Before joining KGP, Bob was a Senior Manager with special expertise in direct and database marketing in the Strategic Services practice of Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting). He came to Accenture via their acquisition of Kestnbaum & Company where he spent 17 years. During these years, Bob helped more than 100 organizations launch or improve database marketing operations.  Clients included Banana Republic, L.L. Bean, Bell South, Daimler Benz, IBM, and the Royal Canadian Mint. Bob’s client relationships are characterized by an unusually diverse array of:

bullet Company size - range from start-ups and small entrepreneurial firms to many of the Fortune 500.
bullet Primary lines of business - include catalog and other mail order marketers, financial services, retailing, utilities and manufacturers.
bullet Markets - Bob has worked with U.S. and foreign firms in Canada, throughout Europe, Latin America, Japan and Australia.

Bob is a frequent speaker at industry gatherings worldwide and has taught at Northwestern University, DePaul University and UNC-Asheville.  He conducts seminars on mathematical and financial applications in direct marketing for the Direct Marketing Association and is a former President of the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing.
